He is in the wrong. If he really liked her, Brandy, then he would do anything to be with her on her day. If he did tell the other girl first then he should stop and make an appearance then go to the other party of his girlfriend. He maybe uncomfortable with the new relationship or just not that into her. Sorry for being blunt but truth can hurt.
