Should i still be in pain?

Before Christmas i was taken to hospital for a pain in my right abdomen. The nurse strongly suspected appendicitis but obviously because im a girl it is alot harder to diagnose because everything else that it is in my lower abdomen. I was given an emergency laparoscopy but they couldn't find anything that explained the pain (though they did find some fluid in my abdomen which they couldnt explain). When i came round from the operation i was in a considerable amount of pain due to the carbon dioxide they pumped into my abdomen . 5 months later and i am still in pain and the pain that sent me into hospital hasn't been diagnosed. I have been told that it could have just been painful ovulation. I had just come off my period so it couldn't have been but the operation sent my menstrual cycle completely out of wack because during the operation they had to touch my ovaries. I am still getting the orginal pain , plus pain from where they did the operation! I am not sure what i should do...
