What was it like for you when you had a c section?

Well my daughter was breech, and I had to have c section as my cervix wasn't opening at all. I had a spinal tap, then I couldn't feel a thing. I felt pressure as they cut and pushed the baby out, but no actual pain during the surgery. I was shaking alot after due to the shock but things went as planned. I was told to try and walk and got to the toilet the next morning, which was painful, and I found it hard to walk up straight, but later that day felt better. I hope I haven't scared you. Good luck!
