What is the difference between being a Lutheran and a Christian?

You mean what is the difference between a lutheran and a non denomination christian? they are both christians by definition of believing in CHRIST but lutherans follow martin luther who was a monk of the catholic church who disagreed with its teachings and started his own religion. Non denomination christians follow the bible. I would recommend trying EVERY christian church before deciding to join one.
